AGM 2023
Our annual general meeting was held on Saturday 24 June 2023. Thank you to all of you who came along. Here’s a run down of what happened at it.
What happened at the AGM?
Full members voted on the positions of the Chair, Council members, and there was one member proposal and a special resolution. Results are listed below.
Chair and Council Members
- Claire Louise Vaculik remains as Chair (95.8% in favour)
- Simi Warah was voted in as a Council member (97.9%)
- Dr Jessica Collier were voted in as a Council member (97.8%)
Member proposal – art therapy awards
A member proposal was passed with 96.9% of vote to develop ways to recognise and celebrate art therapists who have made outstanding contributions to our profession.
This could be through:
- a long and significant career
- developing innovative and ground-breaking clinical practice or research
- through leadership of the profession
- or a major contribution to our professional body.
Special resolution – Articles of Association
A special resolution was passed (by 93.4% of the votes) to agree that new Articles of Association would be adopted.
