Annual general meeting 2025
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is happening on the morning of 21 June 2025, 10am-1pm, online.
It’s an opportunity to come together as a profession, look back on what we’ve accomplished over the past year, and discuss what’s next. Our Chair, Claire Louise Vaculik, and Chief Executive, Gary Fereday, will share key updates, and there will time for questions and discussion.
We’d love for you to join us. We will share the Zoom link closer to the day.
Council nominations
This year we have four nominations for Council members, with only three positions available. If you’re a full member, you’re eligible to vote in the elections.
The nominees are (in alphabetical order):
- Dr Simon Hackett
- Melissa King
- Kate Pestell
- Simi Warah

How to vote
You can vote at the AGM or you have the option to vote in advance. Look out for emails from UK Engage (the company managing the process for us) with details on how to vote, and for the supporting statements from the candidates.
Member proposals
We did not receive any member proposals this year.
Annual report 2024/25
Ahead of the AGM, you can take a look at our annual report for an overview of what we achieved together in the association in the last year. The report brings together different voices from across our community – members, volunteers, elected Council members, and staff.
