About: An acrylic painting I did when recovering after a chemotherapy session I had for breast cancer. I curled up because my body felt distorted with a complete imbalance to my limbs. I couldn't describe this feeling to my family so I decided to paint it ⁠

A CALL FOR ART: BAAT OPEN GALLERY

Is an online gallery showing images of artistic practices which have also been therapeutic. The gallery includes artworks from around the world. New artworks are selected and added to the galleries on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook which are posted on all of BAAT's social media platforms.

The COVID-19 crisis has posed great challenges worldwide, affecting people's every day lives and having extensive effects beyond the spread of the disease. Throughout these difficult times of self-isolation, the arts has however been flourishing. People from around the world are finding imaginative and innovative ways of making art and finding creative ways of keeping people connected during a pandemic keeping people apart.
