About Tina
HCPC Registered Art Therapist
Since qualifying as an Art Therapist in 2000, I have provided individual and group art therapy for children & young people in social services and schools, for adults in mental health day services, older adults experiencing dementia and most recently for children, young people and adults accessing a cancer care bereavement service.
My aim is to facilitate clients health, wellbeing and self-regulation through my psychodynamic, integrative, humanistic, person-centred and mainly non-directive, reflective art therapy approach.
I practice mindfulness & meditation and also facilitate art for wellbeing groups for adults called Art for Relaxation, where the emphasis is more on arts for health, promoting health and wellbeing through exploration of various art materials and techniques within a safe, socially supportive relaxed art group environment.
My private practice is based in the South Lakes, Cumbria where I offer face to face sessions and also home visits.
