Alison Cloud
Art Psychotherapist
Supervisor & private practitioner
About Alison
I have been an art psychotherapist for over 15 years practicing with children, teenagers and adults both in private practice and as an employee. I am also a practising artist and I work from my home studio. I have supervised students and qualified art therapists in NHS childrens mental health services. I have also supervised art therapists in training. My approach is trauma informed, psychotherapeutic and personcentred. I am influenced by Jungian ideas from my own training and therapy and as a therapist. I encourage and trust in the art making and non verbal process, to build relationships to what needs integration. I am also a trained and experienced yoga teacher, interested in how the body holds our stories and how we can be more in touch with our felt senses when processing our feelings. I hold a Masters in Art Psychotherapy, PGDip Art Therapy - Hertfordshire, PGCE Education. See website for more information
