About Samantha
Hello, I'm Samantha, a fully qualified, HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist and a full member of BAAT (British Association of Art Therapists). I have worked with children, young people and their families for over 20 years in both education and supporting roles, before qualifying as an art therapist in 2011. I work with a wide range of mental health concerns and all ages from young child - adult, using the creative process and therapeutic relationship to help support expression of feelings and experiences. I fully believe in the transformative effect that art therapy can have upon an individual - helping to create clarity and understanding about relationships, past experiences, feelings, emotions and thoughts. No previous experience or skill is necessary - art therapy focuses on reflecting together about the process and experience of creating/making art. I offer a free consultation where I can answer any questions you may have and we can think together about your requirements.
