About Samantha
Samantha qualified as an Art Psychotherapist in 2011 with an MA Art Therapy from Hertfordshire University. She is a full member of BAAT and is HCPC registered. Samantha is passionate about art therapy and fully believes in the transformative effect that art psychotherapy can have upon an individual’s self-esteem, emotional wellbeing, and self- identity. Samantha works psychodynamically, with a person-centred approach, and a focus on the individuals needs. Samantha specialises in working with children and young people, with a particular interest in child protection, looked after children, bereavement and trauma. Samantha works within schools as well as on a private basis from a clinic in Alderley Edge and also offers online art therapy sessions. Samantha also works with adults and art therapy students.
