Nelly Curtis

I’m Nelly Curtis, the Founder of Creative Therapy Space here in Saint Leonards-on-sea, East Sussex. As a qualified Art Psychotherapist, I work with children, young people (up to the age of 21), and their families in dyadic art therapy and in 1-1 art therapy. I work with humility, compassion and the therapy I provide is based on what science says is safe and effective.I work with individuals and families with the fully embodied notion that every one of us is born a real person, with very real, complex, and unique needs which constantly change from birth. I provide therapy that is inclusive, un-judgmental, respectful, confidential and kind. My therapeutic framework and training is psychodynamic which means I work with the conscious and the unconscious parts of what the client brings to therapy. I also provide consultations for parents, carers, schools, social workers and other professionals working with young people and their mental health. Please do get in touch.
