About Diane
I am a fully qualified art psychotherapist /psychological therapist with a PGDip. (distinction) in parent infant mental health (AFC). I am registered with the HCPC a member of BAAT and EMDR UK.
I have substantial experience of working with mental health issues. I specialise in maternal perinatal and parent-infant mental health in public health (NHS) sectors. I work with adults, parents, and women’s mental health. This includes fertility, perinatal anxiety birth trauma perinatal loss postnatal anxiety & depression, the parent-infant relationship, and other relational issues. I am an art therapy trainer and supervisor. I have contributed as an author to arts in health books, the International Journal of Art Therapy, HEE and AHP platforms.
My sessional approach is person centred integrative non-directive, trauma informed and psychodynamic. This is grounded in attachment, systemic and psychoanalytic theory sometimes using EMDR and video intervention.
