Ceinwen Birrell

My name is Ceinwen (they/she). I am an art psychotherapist as well as a clinical supervisor. Currently alongside my private practice I specialising in work with refugees and asylum seekers.

I offer weekly, 50 minute sessions for adults and young people.

My work is trauma informed, socially engaged and intersectional in its focus with the intention of being a safer space for individuals within the LGBTQ+ community. I follow a person centred approach, following a psychosocial model, creating a unique relationship with each client. I offer an open, non judgemental space that nurtures a growing understanding of self and ones life experiences.

There is no pressure to use or make art within my therapy space where there is a selection of art materials such as clay, painting, drawing and collage materials, alongside other creative tools to aid exploration of your inner world.

I offer a few places at a subsidised rate if you are on low/no-income.
