Marielle Weddegjerde
Supervisor & private practitioner
About Marielle
I am an HCPC-registered art psychotherapist, expressive art therapist and qualified supervisor. I have over ten years’ experience in mental health, including work in specialist services and charities supporting adults with complex needs, and more recently, children and adolescents in school settings. Guided by psychodynamic principles, I understand the therapeutic relationship as central to transformation and meaning-making. My approach is integrative and co-creative, drawing on the arts to explore sensations, feelings, and lived experience. You may come to therapy because of anxiety, stress, low mood, difficulties in relationships, or a general sense of being stuck. I tailor sessions to your unique needs, holding in mind the broader context of their life. Together, we create a containing and thoughtful space that can support meaning, vitality, and change. I practice in line with BAAT´s ethic framwork and hold full professional indemnity insurance (PPS).
