About Anne
Do you struggle to find words for your thoughts, feelings and experiences? Do you feel anxious or down, or confused by events or relationships in your life? Do you crave change? I have over 20 years experience of building therapeutic relationships with people with enduring mental health issues, adults with learning disabilities and children and young people. I offer a safe, welcoming non-judgemental space where together we can build a therapeutic relationship that is built on curiosity and compassion. Art making and thinking and reflecting together can support the untangling of complex thoughts and feelings and help to foster understanding, kindness and greater awareness. My approach includes using psychodynamic theory to look at how past experiences impact your life, which can be supported by psychoeducation tools. I am trauma-informed and have a strengths-based practice.
