About Georgia
I am a 4 years Qualified Art Psychotherapist with extensive experience in inpatient services. I have also worked within educational settings in the community, with young people and Adults. Art has an incredible way of allowing us to explore our thoughts and feelings without needing to say it. We live our world surrounded by images, objects and sensory experiences, therefore I feel that an awareness of our responses to the world around us can help us to feel well connected to ourself and others.
My practice is mainly Psychodynamic , however I aim to deliver my work in an integrative way, allowing you to use the space as you feel necessary. I believe the body is a great indicator in communicating our emotions and stressors, and understand that trauma can impact the way a person may think, feel or behave. I use a variety of informed practices in my work.
