Valerie Burgess
Private practitioner
About Valerie
I have a warm and open approach, enabling clients to feel comfortable and at ease as they begin therapy. I offer a non-judgemental, compassionate and confidential space where clients can express their feelings and explore some of the difficulties and challenges they may be experiencing.
I am an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist with an MA in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy (Distinction). I offer both art therapy and talking therapy to individuals, whether face-to-face, online or via telephone. I work in private practice at The Awareness Centre in Clapham SW4 on Wednesdays and online or via telephone on Thursdays.
My integrative psychotherapy training means I am not fixed to one modality or one school of thought. I work collaboratively with clients to adapt my psychotherapy practice to their needs, understanding that everyone’s experience of life is different.
I am committed to working inclusively with a diverse range of clients from many cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.
