About Poppy
Art Therapy is suitable for all ages and every stage of life, including those whose lives have been affected by difficult life experiences, systemic inequality and oppression, neurodiversity, illness and/or disability. Being skilled in art or in a craft is not necessary to benefit. Instead, there is a need to be open to the possibilities of the process involved. Like with any therapy, the process can be challenging as uncomfortable feelings and painful memories may emerge.
I draw upon psychodynamic theory, which explores both conscious and unconscious processes. I also offer nature-based art therapy.
I have experience in treating a range of psychological and emotional disorders, including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, loss, bereavement and relationship problems. Together, we would establish a treatment plan that would be specific to your needs.
Please get in touch via email to arrange a free 20-minute telephone consultation, and so that I can answer any of your questions.
