EE recognises value of art therapy in powerful video

The second-largest mobile network operator in the UK, with over 20 million customers, is recognising the value of art therapy with a powerful video.

Ten of EE’s staff from Tyneside shared with art therapist, Frances Connolly, the online abuse they’ve experienced throughout their lives. Through using art in the session, they were able to turn their negative experience into a collaborative piece of art using sticks and stones and a more positive message.

We are delighted that one of the UKs largest telecommunications companies recognises the value of art therapy, and really pleased that this project came about by EE reaching out to one of our members through the Find a Therapist tool. We will shortly be opening up the Find a Therapist tool to all our full members who wish to appear. We hope this will help art therapists become more visible and allow more projects like this come about.
