Call for submissions for our annual conference – Art therapy and the climate crisis: building emotional resilience

This year’s annual conference will explore the climate crisis as a global health and mental health crisis.

This event will give members the opportunity to come together to think deeply about the planet’s biggest existential threat, the effect it has on them, their work and how art and art therapy can help meet this challenge.

We’re calling for submissions from you, our members, to help demonstrate how art therapy can help people respond to the climate crisis.

What we’re looking for

We would like to invite you to send in proposals for the following:

  • a ‘live’ plenary presentation (50 mins)
  • a pre-recorded video presentation (10 mins)

It is really important to us that our annual conference plays a role in highlighting examples of our members’ innovative practice, which they have developed to support communities across the UK. We look forward to reading your submissions and to hearing more about your creative and inspiring practices in this important area.
