Lisa Tye
Private Practitioner
About Lisa
I am an HCPC-registered art therapist offering a calm, compassionate space for adults and young people navigating depression, anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, trauma, neurodiversity and major life transitions. My practice is integrative and grounded in a person-centred, trauma-informed approach that asks not “what is wrong with you?” but “what has happened to you?”, recognising how experience shapes emotional wellbeing. I believe creative processes can help untangle difficult feelings, supporting clarity, renewed hope and strengthened self-esteem. My role is to listen without judgement and to help people make sense of their thoughts and feelings through art-making. I aim to help each person feel truly seen and heard, offering a gentle, steady presence that allows challenging material to be explored safely and at a manageable pace.
