About Mairi Perry
I offer psychodynamic art therapy to children, young people and adults, focusing on the unconscious mind. I specialise in trauma, neurodivergence, brain injury & disability.
This approach is rooted in the belief that unconscious thoughts and emotions can be expressed and explored through artistic creation. This form of therapy focuses on uncovering and processing unconscious material through the art making process, with the therapist aiding the individual in interpreting the symbolic and metaphorical aspects of art.
I am a fully qualified Art Psychotherapist registered member of BAAT (British Association of Art Therapists), and HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council).
