Annual general meeting 2024
Our 2024 annual general meeting (AGM) was held online on 22 June.
Afternoon seminar: Poverty, mental health, and art therapy
Ed Davie, policy and public affairs lead at the Centre for Mental Health, presented on the links between poverty and mental health. Ed also talked about Manifesto for a mentally healthier nation, the organisation’s call on all political parties to commit to a ten-year, cross-government plan for mental health. We have signed the manifesto, along with over 60 other organisations connected to mental health.
Art therapist, Jacqui McKoy-Lewens, responded to Ed’s presentation, reflecting on the role of creativity, art and mental health.
You can watch Ed’s presentation which we published to members in the Summer 2024 issue of our magazine, InSight.
